After six years as a wedding photographer, I know what it takes to build a creative business from the ground up—and what it feels like when your brand no longer reflects where you are.
I started Salt & Spruce Creative Co. alongside my photography work, drawn to the strategy and problem-solving that design offered. Eventually, the creative pull became impossible to ignore. I was burnt out from weddings, ready to focus on my family, and craving work that felt more aligned with where I was headed.
So I made the leap. Not because the timing was perfect—but because it was right.

Why I Do This
I wish someone had told me early on: there's never going to be a perfect time.
As business owners, we're constantly balancing dreams with reality—families to support, bills to pay, happiness to maintain. I get it. That's why I design brands and websites that don't just look polished—they work. They give you confidence to show up, clarity in how you present yourself, and a foundation that supports your growth without requiring constant DIY fixes.

My background as a photographer taught me more than how to compose a beautiful shot—it taught me how to see what's really there. To notice what's working, what's missing, and what needs to shift.
I bring that same lens to every brand and website I design. My approach blends strategic thinking with organic luxury aesthetics—creating work that feels elevated but authentic, timeless but warm. No cookie-cutter templates. No trendy design that feels dated in a year. Just intentional work rooted in who you are and what your clients are actually looking for.

I'm Jenrette — I’m a designer, creative, and studio owner based in Savannah, Georgia though my heart is often in the garden or curled up with a book.
You'll find me in the garden—planting, watching seeds pop up, rearranging when something doesn't quite work where it is. (Turns out, I approach design the same way.) I also love needlepoint and puzzles, anything that asks me to slow down and pay attention to the details.
